Just spent a fabulous weekend in this very friendly, well-located B&B in Salisbury. Steve and Wenda were perfect hosts, gave us a warm welcome and did everything to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Cathedral View, as the name suggests, is just a stone's throw away from the Cathedral precinct in the heart of this beautiful, historic...

My husband and I began our England stay here and were welcomed so warmly by Steve and Wenda. We particularly enjoyed Steve's passion and knowledge about the area and his suggestions of places to see, eat, and enjoy! Our room was comfortable and cozy, and the location is excellent. Breakfast was outstanding and the only thing we'd do differently -...

This was a great location to "call home" during our 4 days in Salisbury. Centrally located near everything we wanted to do, whether it was a tourist destination or a fine restaurant for dinner or a day trip to Bath, this was the perfect place for us. Steve and Wenda were great hosts and the lovely breakfast was a welcome...

My mother and I stayed at this lovely B&B for two nights the beginning of September and thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Steve and Wenda. We had a spotlessly clean, comfortable twin room with many thoughtful extras. Fresh flowers, adapter plugs, a lovely tea tray (with Wenda's delicious homemade cookies each day), even a little flashlight hanging on the back...

Steve has a wealth of knowledge of Salisbury and is happy to share it. Our room was on the first floor overlooking the garden and was a good size and very comfortable,...

We stayed at this delightful B&B at the beginning of the month and appreciated the hosting skills of Steve and Wenda. We loved the thoughtful touches such as the fresh flowers, the home-made biscuits and plenty of clothes hooks! The breakfast was excellent especially the delicious homemade marmalade, jam and bread. We can’t wait to visit Salisbury again and spend...

In 2013, we stayed at Cathedral View based on reviews from other travelers. We were so pleased with our stay, that we immediately contacted Steve and Wenda to book our favorite room when we learned we would be returning to Salisbury this summer. Again, our room was very clean and comfortable, the food delicious, and hosts incredibly helpful. If we...

Steve and Wenda made this an extra special stay for us. Very accomodating to us pesky vegans, and for my sister's insulin storage. Extras like chocolates & cookies made it feel very posh. Good directions and tips on where to go. The nicest, cleanest B&B we've stayed in on this trip two weeks into it.

A lovely review from great guests who we enjoyed looking after. It is good for people to read that we know how to prepare vegan food. No one goes hungry in this house!

The review might - for a change and around the second half of it - sound too romantic. Please bear with me. Getting to Cathedral View is very straightforward. By feet (if your luggage has wheels) and with a map it takes like 15 mins of leasure walking taking in the sights for the first time - but can take...
