We stayed for two nights at Qudos and it couldn't have been better, hence the 5 stars. The room was spacious, quiet, immaculate, light and airy, the bed large and comfortable and the whole place was well-presented and had a great atmosphere. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful without being over-formal or pushy. The food was delicious and the...

I met some work friends here for a few drinks one evening, which led onto deciding to have some food as well. We all chose well, and I decided on taking the fillet steak. I was pleasantly surprised and the steak was amazing, well cook to my requirements and pressed well. I shall return and also recommend

We stayed at this gem of a place overnight on a Saturday for a function at the Guilhall, which was about 300 yards away. This late Victorian pub looks a bit tired on the outside, but the rooms are spick and span and the bathroom of our room 14 was a new pleasure. I had an excellent comprehensive early welcome...

We've stayed at Qudos before and had a similar experience. We were given the same room as our previous stay and found our room to be satisfactory. The room has everything you could need from a typical hotel room. The room needs a lick of paint and a professionally cleaned carpet. The bed is very rickety and uncomfortable which didn't...

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were spotless and comfortable, equipped with everything we needed. An added bonus was huge bath sheets instead of inadequate bath towels. While there is often live music in the bar downstairs, it does finish at about 11pm as promised. However, instead of being annoyed as some reviewers have been, why...

Due to a combination of factors which I have been reassured won't happen again we were unable to check in to the second of our two twin rooms. The matter was dealt with very professionally by Andy and shows that the place is well run by people who do care. So for the two of us who did stay, we...

I booked for a night's stay at this pub/hotel as I was there in Salisbury for work. I was pleasantly surprised by my room which is well decorated and the bathroom was spotless. Nice to have a kettle in the room with sachets of tea and coffee. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The pub has a dining...

Clean comfortable room, pleasant staff and good food. The hotel was more "Pub" than hotel but was very well located for the shops and cathedral and was walking distance from the railway station. There was live music on both Friday and Saturday but as advertised this finished at 11.30pm. All in all quite a pleaant weekend..

Andy, Vanessa, Lee and thier team make this place a great place to stay. All are friendly and welcoming. I stayed for 2 weeks. The location, food, cleanliness and standard of room was excellent. The open Mike night was great fun. A relaxed environment but very well run. I would definiately return with my hubby for a leisure trip.

Stopped here for just one night before a trip to the stones.Conveniently located, clean and comfortable. Both gentlemen who were on duty during evening check-in and breakfast/check-out were extremely helpful and friendly. They have live music most nights - we were disappointed that we booked a Wednesday when there was none! But will bear it in mind for another time.

Qudos, located right in the city centre is a quintessential Victorian Hotel which has recently been refurbished to a high standard, whilst retaining its original period charm. The downstairs has been extensively refurbished to provide a chic new bar and contemporary restaurant. Qudos proudly promotes the venue as unique having a dedicated area where musicians can come and perform playing all music styles from Blues to Jazz, Acoustic Rock to Classical music. We are a live music venue, so please note the music from the bands will be audible until midnight on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Residents are invited to enjoy all the music offered whilst being assured we keep strict guidelines on the times of the music to ensure the quiet enjoyment of our guests. Our rooms have recently been refurbished, boasting all of the modern amenities one would expect, whilst having the relaxed feel that one desires. Parking is extremely limited on site, however there is on street parking directly adjacent on Scots lane and the central car park is a 2 minute stroll, with free parking overnight between the hours of 6 pm and 8am, and daily parking from £7.40. We are able to offer pre-booked parking at a cost of £5 per car.
