I stayed at the Alabare House for a few days during May on business and served to be a perfect base to go back to. The Hotel is situated a 5 minute walk from the Salisbury city centre and with Salisbury, everything is in walking distance. However the hotel is also located near a main road so easy to get...

Tucked away down a gated driveway the guest house is easy to miss but worth seeking out. The welcome was pleasant and the staff member was very helpful and carried our cases without being asked. The room was simple but comfortable and well equipped. We stayed in a twin room with its own basin and toilet/shower opposite. All was clean...

My mom and Aunt and I stayed here for three days. We were in the cozy Sarum room which had three comfy twin beds. The guest house was immaculately clean, the sheets were cool and crisp, we had a fantastic view of the Cathedral from our room. The water was hot with wonderful water pressure. There are things to make...

There are so many negatives about this property. We didn't get the room we booked (with ensuite) and were led to believe at check-in that all rooms had separate bathrooms. We later found out that ensuite rooms were available. We would never book a room with separate bathroom and in our search for properties for this trip one of the...

Dear GrandpaEric, We are very sorry that you did not find our Bed&Breakfast adequate. We have different kinds of rooms, some with en suite facilities and some with shared facilities. I believe there has been a problem with your booking, and if you have been assigned a room without bathroom I am sure that we have given you a discounted...

Going into a gated guest house was a new experience for us, but once we were inside they were greeted warmly, time of breakfast scheduled, shown around the place (breakfast room, bathroom and room) and then was left to it. Was probably one of the smaller rooms in which we stayed on our holiday but was clean, tidy and a...

It gets all its stars from me for being so nice and ordinary. ideally situated for Salisbury centre, approx. 10 mins walk. Rooms are very basic but clean and homely. Enjoyed the breakfast but not the shared tables. Gated parking for all rooms. Would use again

We had a warm greeting when we arrived & were promptly shown our room, breakfast scheduled & important information to know was received. The rooms were clean & functional with shared bathrooms. The location is very secure hidden behind trees with controlled access. The full English breakfast was very good. The location is hard to find with a very small...

We had to arrive late, but were met by the staff. Food was good. Perhaps a bit overpriced compared with some of our other stays. The squeaky floor was a distraction. Location was a bit hard to find, but was central to where we wanted to visit.
