The guest house is about 30 minutes walk from the city centre (£5.00 taxi ride) and 15 minutes from Old Sarum- so a good location. The owners were very friendly, the breakfast was good, the room was very clean and quiet. Free wifi too. My only gripe- which is picky is the tight turn into their car park-although having a...

This family run Victorian Hotel has free parking at the back. It has just the 6 bedrooms with en suite. When we checked in we received a warm welcome from Nat, who took our cases up stairs to our rooms. Mine had a bath en suite whilst my friend chose the shower in hers. The beds had memory mattresses, so...

This B&B was a real find. It's located about a five minute bus or taxi ride to downtown Salisbury. Close to public transport with free parking and wifi, the rooms were clean an welcoming. Our hospitable owners provided a map and clearly marked suggestions of things to see and do as well as some great pubs and restaurants. Breakfast included...

This guest house was conveniently located for our needs, and it is quite easy to walk into town (via a pleasant path through the park and/or along the river if you so wish); a bus stop is also nearby, as is a co-op with a cash machine. It is beautifully clean, with nice décor, and the breakfast is fresh, tasty...

We were visiting Salisbury for a gig at the Arts Centre and only wanted one night, but given that it was a bank holiday weekend, the guest house only offered two night stays - as seems to be the norm in the city. Despite having to change our plans we enjoyed our time in Salisbury and 2 Park Lane provided...

We recently booked a room at 2 Park Lane for a one night stay. We booked on the Sunday and were due to arrive on the Wednesday. However, on Monday evening of the week of our stay I had a phone call to tell me my brother had unexpectedly passed away. My partner called first thing Tuesday to explain and...

I am sorry you are so upset that you feel you needed to write a review on trip advisor about our cancellation policy. But as you said yes we do have to run a business and unfortunately people so tell us all sorts of things when they cancel and we are not able to tell which cases are genuine and...

It should not be called a guest house but rather a ' welcome home ' I was well looked after and the two rooms that I stayed in ( at separate times) are tranquil and impeccably clean. I had the full English breakfast and each time it was delicious. There is a beautiful park at the front door and a...

We stayed here for 2 nights and wanted to be on the perimeter of the city with a short leg stretch into town. Our room was clean and the facilities were just right. The bed was comfortable and the power shower was a treat. The lady who runs the place was sociable, friendly and very good at cooking a full...

We stopped for 2 nights during the Easter weekend. Lovely welcoming staff, a clean room and a good breakfast. The room was a little small but perfectly good for 2 nights. The town and cathedral are around a 15 minute walk away, which suited us.
