I'll keep this short. Very disappointed in the Sunday lunch. Frozen mixed veg, watery and greasy gravy. Mashed potato tasted like that pre made packet stuff that you buy from the chilled section in the supermarket. 2 small roast potatoes (which were actually really nice) and a burnt, chewy and very stale tasting Yorkshire pudding. Don't go here of you...

Stayed here one night to break up journey further north. Good location, beautiful large, very clean room with superb sea view. Although room was above bar it was very quiet. Had dinner in bar, tasty and reasonably priced. Good atmosphere. Very tasty breakfast served freshly cooked.

We visit the Glen quite often and find the food excellent, only once the food was not up to there high standard. There is a very good selection of draft beers and even a better choice of spirits. Staff are always friendly and polite. With a beautiful view of the sea it makes for a relaxing experience.

This was our only holiday this Easter. We were lucky to find accommodation on the promenade for our dates. There is scaffolding on the front of the hotel but this did not put us off nor did it interfere badly with our sea view. We were really lucky with the weather but it would be lovely in the winter with...

We stayed a weekend in a triple room whilst visiting friends. The room (15) has a wonderful sea view and boasts a new bathroom. There are the obvious disadvantages of an old building such as no lifts but is does have character. Nice breakfast.

We were looking forward to staying at The Glengower after passing it last year when we visited Aberystwyth, the bar looked lively and the seating outside overlooked the sea. When we stayed recently the pub did not disappoint and the staff were lovely and friendly ......I wish we had left it at that. Once you get beyond the bar areas...

Very comfortable hotel, well placed on the sea front, close to the cliff railway. Staff very friendly & helpful, food is fantastic, excellent breakfast, nice comfortable beds & very clean. It's dog friendly and they are well catered for, doggie treats on the bar and bowls of water on request. We had no problem finding a parking space but it...

The hotel has a great location - quiet cul the sac at the end of the beach promenade, ca 7 minutes walk from the railway station. We booked the room with the sea view at the first floor - it was a bit outdated but clean and very spacious (the last is quite an exception in UK). The sea view...
