My wife attended Aberystwyth University 20 years ago and this was her first revisit to the town. The Gwesty turned into an amazing find. It is halfway between a B&B and a hotel as it provides a restaurant for lunch and evening meal. We took...More
I was in Aber for just one night and was lucky enough to find this place. Very warm welcome on arrival. Check in was quick and painless! Was shown up to my room, which was far larger than I’d expected. I’d paid extra for a...More

Lovely hotel on the seafront.
The room we had was small but very adequate - nicely decorated and well appointed.
Breakfast was excellent - fresh, local and good selection.
Great shower and toiletries.
Would stay here again.

Well that is a difficult one. First of all find the hotel and do a bag drop. The road outside the hotel has a yellow line (no parking) so there is always a place to stop and unload I'm sure you will be fine to do this as I think you get 5 mins on a yellow line for unloading.
To the left of the pier (left as you look out to sea) there are no restrictions to how long you can park along the stretch of road in front of the old university building and the castle ruin ( about a mile stretch of road) but everyone else will be trying there too so it might be full. We managed to get about the last space going right at the end of this stretch of road, it was a 20 min walk back! BUT the hotel is worth the walk. There must be car parks somewhere in town but as we got a space on the road we didn't need to find a car park. The hotel will know where these are. Might be best to give them a call and find out where they are before you get there.....they really should advise people before thy go.
...we have a guest house in Llandudno and send our guests a parking map before they arrive and tell them about our bag drop service...😀😀
If you are visiting Llandudno too on your trip do look us up.. The View Guest House😊
