We spent 4 nights here and were very happy with our choice, we really got great value. The view across the Menai Straits and of the Victorian pier is fantastic. Room were of a decent size and quality with new furnishings and thoughtfully decorated in a 'William Morris' style. I was very happy with the shower, as hot as you'd...

My brother found this hotel as a rendezvous point prior to family funeral...we were given a very warm welcome and friendly service...sandwiches were excellent and I would recommend this hotel. Situated near the Pier with spectacular views across the straights.. 5 minutes drive to the crematorium.

Stayed overnight with son and fiancé and was greeted by very friendly and happy staff. Asked if we could have sea views and accommodated us. Nice cosy room, clean and tidy, everything you needed, bed lovely and comfy, would benefit from quilts rather than sheets and a counterpane. We had a Sunday lunch, a small one at that and was...

Stayed here with my wife for three nights while visiting our son who works at the university. Had a room on the top floor with a fantastic view over the Menai Strait. We also had a spectacular view of the Tap and Spile pub next door which is well worth a visit (or two). We ate in the hotel on...

We stayed here on a visit to Bangor University with my daughter. We had a family room on the ground floor. We were slightly concerned about potential noise from the bar but our worries proved unfounded as it was nice and quiet. The room itself was small but comfortable, and the bathroom was good and clean. There's a cosy bar...

Room warm and comfortable, plentiful hot water. Okay for one night. Staff all very pleasant. £75 for a Sat night inc breakfast not too bad especially as my beloved dog stayed for free. Next door to the Tap and Spile pub which is a bonus if you like a traditional pub (to go with your traditional hotel). Breakfast was well...
