Popped in for an impromptu lunch Saturday afternoon, it was busy with a nice buzzy atmosphere. Nice warm characterful building, swift service and excellent lunch at a reasonable price. One to recommend for lunch, we'll be back.

My husband and I had the opportunity of a night away without the kids for only the third time in 7 years - to celebrate my birthday. In our carefree days, we would often go to this area from our home in Bristol to enjoy some walking, nice food & drink and a bit of rugby in the company of...

I had read an article about Abergavenny recently, with the Kings Arms highly recommended as a really good place to stay. We were not disappointed. It was so old & quirky, not a straight line in the place and we loved it !! Our room was perfect, spotlessly clean & the most comfortable four-poster bed we have ever slept in...

We stayed at the King's Arms last weekend and we will be back. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room clean and comfortable, the restaurant and bar cosy, and the food excellent. A wet Saturday early evening ( after an attempt at Pen y fan beaten by wind) was spent watching the Rugby in the delightful function room. Even...

This is a 500 year old Travellers Inn which appears to have been recently expanded with conference facilities and redecorated. We booked at short notice (3hrs before arrival). The booking process was easy. On arrival they were expecting us. the duty manager, Chloe, who actually did everything was the most helpful, friendly person. we were tired and hungry and she...

My sister and I stayed overnight and loved it! The building has been sympathetically renovated, maintained and furnished with taste & style. The staff were all helpful and happy to ensure we had a good customer experience. They are really well led by the lovely lady proprietor who is just as obliging as the team. We had a gorgeous dinner...
