My twin sister, son and I went for Sunday lunch as a treat for our birthday. The whole meal was delicious but the beef was exceptional, as were the vegetables. My favourite course though was the dessert, Lemon Crunch; which had to be the best dessert I've ever had. The service is excellent and friendly too, they put a candle...

We were warmly greeted on our arrival. Our bedroom was beautifully furnished and very comfortable, and the general ambience of this establishment was certainly homely and relaxed. Without doubt our meal was exceptionall, with a choice from an extensive, interesting menu, obviously making use of many local products.

Just as expected. We seek out top chefs across the country and sometimes it can be a let down... The Hardwick offered a massive amount of choice with sizable portions and very reasonable. Lovely warm and relaxed atmosphere..

2nd visit in 3 weeks and there will be many more to come in 2017! Arguably Wales best and Mr Terry doesn't need a Michelin star to prove his worth! Sunday menu today with family and we were not disappointed! Immense location, staff and food. Diolch

A lovely place for a night away. Lovely ambience, fantastic food and service. Lots of local high quality ingredients on the menu, cooked to perfection with imagination without being overly fussy in its presentation. It's not cheap but well worth it for a treat.

Very disappointed on this visit. The menu was nothing like previous visits, , the selection was bad and just average .My wife ordered gurnard but was told it was off the menu, so why was it still displayed.. My main dish, chicken was not the greatest. The waiters gave the impression as though they didn't want to be there, all seriously...

We stayed at the Hardwick for one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we enjoyed a stay that held friendly staff, fabulous food, comfortable accommodation and an all round made to feel welcome atmosphere. My only negative comment would be that the heating in the room needs to be turned down when trying to sleep and the interior nightlight...
