The cottage is everything you could hope for if you are in need of a stress free break. We loved our holiday (and the dogs did too). The cottage is beautiful, peaceful and cozy and we spent hours walking in the surrounding area. The wifi is fast and reliable, enabling us to work hassle free in the evenings. The kitchen...

We loved our wonderful stay in Shepherd`s Cottage. Sandra and Chris were great, very helpful but not intrusive. Abergavenny is a beautiful town, and it`s market is exceptional. We loved the cottage. It was cozy, well equipped, and had stunning views from the patio. The beautiful property is perfectly located to visit Brecon Beacons, Cardiff, the Pembrokeshire Coast, Monmouthshire and...

Beautiful views. Hosts were very helpful when our tyre was flat and helped to arranged the fix. Brilliant cosy space which we lapped up for a whole week. Beds are extremely comfortable. Recliners in the lounge. Was well rested after a week here. Was great place to visit Hay-on-Wye festival. We highly recommend and hope to return soon.

A small, quaint, perfect cottage for us and our 2 dogs. A car is a must. Not advised for anyone who struggles with steps or is very tall as the bedroom has a low sloping roof. The walks nearby and views were amazing (photo on top of Sugar Loaf Mountain), even if the weather wasn't very kind to us! Chris...

What a fantastic place to stay!! The cottage has everything you could possibly need and even has a wood burner for the chilly evenings. We actually stayed here in August 2014. Breathtaking views of the welsh countryside and all the walks you could ever want. This included a nice little amble along to the local pub about 20 minutes away....

Perfect 'get away from it all' clean and cosy cottage in a location with views you could never tire of. Well equipped kitchen and lovely hot shower. The cottage was warm enough without the heating on (although the central heating worked very efficiently). Nice big tv to curl up and watch. There are walks in all directions just out the...
