Well placed to explore the sights of Conwy and North Wales. The room was great and made for a peaceful night. Breakfast excellent also. The secret weapon here though are the hosts. From a couple of drinks in the bar I discerned that the other guests had been before and were more than happy to return - and what are...

I stayed here for a weekend. Lovely old Victorian House, converted into a hotel. All of the rooms are individually decorated, and this certainly had the feel of a good independent hotel. The owner couldn't have been more helpful, with tips of where to go and what to see. Breakfast was excellent, with coffee and tea unlimited... I would thoroughly...

The hotel was fantastic; clean, comfortable, quiet and our room had nice views over Conwy Castle and the estuary. Jo and Henrique were wonderful hosts and our morning breakfasts ... delicious. Conwy is certainly a great central base for exploring North West Wales and I would strongly recommend the Castlebank Hotel 👍👍👍👍👍

We got married in December and held the reception at the Castlebank Hotel which also hosted most of our guests. The dining room seated 20 which was just right for a small wedding. I cannot praise and thank Jo and Henrique enough. Our guests were so well looked after in a home from home setting and the meal was wonderful....

The owners were very welcoming, friendly & hospitable. Room and bed was very comfortable, good provision; tea/coffee/kettle etc, hairdryer, iron/board, Tv, clock alarm. Two lounge areas were cosy with open fires burning. We felt like we were at home and relaxed. Small drinks bar in one lounge. Food was delicious. Breakfast was a choice of cereals, fruit and full english....

We recently stayed at the Castlebank Hotel in Conwy for 3 nights. The hotel is charming, in a wonderful location, just outside of the wall but still near everything, and with a lovely view of the castle. And there is parking available. While we were traveling by train, it is clear parking is at a premium in Conwy. Our room...

It's a really nice hotel with a family feel, but it is really about how welcome the owners make you feel. We had the last available room for the weekend - so not a room with a great view - but very clean, comfortable, en-suite and perfectly fine. But as I said, you are really welcomed when you arrive, given...

Back to our home from home in Conway, this gem of a hotel never fails to please. Met up with some other regulars and enjoyed a drink or two in the lovely residents lounge in front of an open fire with drinks served by the finest host, Henrique. Breakfast fantastic as usual, cooked by Chef Jo. See you in December.

Stayed in room 9 at the top of the hotel, which was clean + comfortable, with good views out to the castle. But what really makes the place is the host, who makes you feel very welcome and serves a delicious cooked breakfast. Would definitely recommend for a short stay.

Spent 3 weeks driving around UK, staying in combination of hotels, bed and breakfast, and rental apartments. On this stop we had not planned ahead, and just strolled around and asked folks for recommendations. All pointed here (CastleBank Hotel) or Castle Hotel. We visited both and found the CastleBank Hotel suited us best. Sitting just outside the walls of the...
