Thank you for writing. I'm sorry you couldn't get a table for dinner when you wanted - we are usually very busy on a weekend, so reservations always necessary I'm afraid! Being right in the middle of the town, we are very handily placed for...More

From the castle styled façade, the rickety internal staircases and the charming, rustic appointments, this hotel delivers a superb and memorable experience. Located in the heart of the action and 4 or 5 minutes walk to the old castle, this family owned (and that showed!)...More

Thanks for writing. Sorry you didn't see the notice on the menu about 10% service charge and we always point it out to guests again if they plan to leave a cash tip. Unlike places who don't make a service charge - all our team...More

We were blessed with two days of glorious weather allowing us to stroll round the fascinating mediaeval town walls (we had done the castle on previous visits). Plas Mawr, just a little further up High Street, run by Cadw, is well worth a visit. Well-situated...More

Yes public transport a bit of a challenge. It's very close to Conwy, so a cab ride not too expensive. Worth the effort at this time of year - beautiful colour! Peter Owner
