As hostels go, this was very clean and the people were very welcoming. I just wished that staff had been on hand to control a group of very loud, well I can't call them people they were cretins from Manchester Off Road Club. They had no thought for other people in the hostel at 3am when then they came in...

This is probably the best hostel I have been so far. Sociable owner, clean everywhere, comfortable beds and good room size (actually much nicer than some hotels), large kitchen and dining room, beautiful living room with plenty of board games to play, quiet in the night. Recommended!

It would be hard to find a better hostel than this! Excellent kitchen/cooking facilities. Comfortable lounge with log burner and a good selection of board games. Free tea and coffee a nice touch. A good breakfast of juice, cereals and toast included in the price. Clean rooms and great showers. Will definitely be back!

It is hard to believe this hostel is a few years old. It looks the same now as it did when it opened. Really clean, well maintained, great supply of kitchen utensils. The beds are comfy, the rooms warm enough whilst not being stuffy and the bathrooms immaculate. Also the complimentary breakfast is a welcomed gift. I had cocopops for...

Our two families met up for a weekend of walking and rafting, taking an en suite room each. Rooms were spacious with comfy beds. Whole place very clean throughout, with well equipped kitchen and a really good lounge for evening board games and chat. Highly recommended, and we plan to visit again.

As a small group of walkers we booked the whole hostel over a weekend. Everyone agreed that they would recommend the hostel to family and friends. The accommodation is relatively simple but high quality from the beds to the bathroom fittings and even the toasters in the kitchen. Little extras like the individual lights for each bed make for a...

The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and the lounge / dining area is great and very handy for a quick breakfast of cereal /...

Me and my colleagues stayed here for one night whilst we went white water rafting, on arrival we was greeted at the door, (sorry did not catch any names) but he assisted us and helped us check in and showed us around. The hostel was very clean, tidy and everyone was very friendly.... The room had 3 sets bunk beds...
