We chose this hotel because it welcomes dogs. We found that there was a lovely path walk from the hotel by a river. Our room was beautifully furnished and very clean with all the necessary amenities, including fresh milk. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the view from our window was amazing. Breakfast was delicious with a varied menu very...

Hotel was very well run with charming dining room and lounge area. The food was superb, reasonably priced and the wine prices very sensible indeed. The staff were very professional and attentive and the owners were very friendly and highly visible too. Everything was as how you would want it to be in your own home. Ample free parking and...

We were delighted with Bryn Eglwys Country House Hotel. The hotel and the surroundings are beautiful! The proprietors have updated and made the place modern and comfortable, yet filled with old charm. We had a wonderful hot breakfast each morning and after dinner, they served tea, coffee or drinks in the comfortable lounge room. This is a charming touch to...

Bryn Eglwys Country House Hotel was just splendid! A lovely couple runs this delightful hotel - ever helpful and friendly. The location is great, a very short walk through a short footpath and bridge to the village, great views of the mountains, the river and the sunset! You feel hidden away from the outside world which is only a few...

The hotel is very well situated in its own grounds overlooking the hills. It is ideally situated for walks to Snowdonia, though there are excellent circular walks from the hotel which are equally appealing. Service was excellent ,the breakfast well cooked and very tasty. We ate there on both nights of our stay as we had been out walking and didn't fancy walking...

Set in a great location with nice views. We paid extra for an upgraded room (£109.00). The room was clean and well decorated, but small. We had a comfortable night and the food and staff at breakfast were very good. We arrived late afternoon for a one night stay and received a warm welcome, but there was an unpleasant aroma...

I visited with most of my family, which included an eight year old and six month old- and it was perfect for us all. The family bedroom was very fairly sized, and they had very kindly set up a travel cot for the baby. The bathrooms were newly refurbished by the looks of things too. The food was superb and...

I can't fault the hotel. The room was perfect, a great size for us. We (partner and I, toddler and baby) stayed in the family room with a double and single bed and still had room for a travel cot (which was provided by the hotel). The beds were extremely comfortable and the bathroom was beautiful, I still miss that...

My Wife and I stayed at the Byyn Eglwys Hotel. Lyn and Kevin ( owners) worked so hard to make our stay memorable, the hotel is very clean and the staff work so hard to make your stay a happy one. The food is out of this world ,good wine list. And nothing is to much trouble for them. Bedrooms are...
