The hotel is very well situated in its own grounds overlooking the hills. It is ideally situated for walks to Snowdonia, though there are excellent circular walks from the hotel which are equally appealing. Service was excellent ,the breakfast well cooked and very tasty. We ate there on both nights of our stay as we had been out walking and didn't fancy walking...

Set in a great location with nice views. We paid extra for an upgraded room (£109.00). The room was clean and well decorated, but small. We had a comfortable night and the food and staff at breakfast were very good. We arrived late afternoon for a one night stay and received a warm welcome, but there was an unpleasant aroma...

I visited with most of my family, which included an eight year old and six month old- and it was perfect for us all. The family bedroom was very fairly sized, and they had very kindly set up a travel cot for the baby. The bathrooms were newly refurbished by the looks of things too. The food was superb and...

I can't fault the hotel. The room was perfect, a great size for us. We (partner and I, toddler and baby) stayed in the family room with a double and single bed and still had room for a travel cot (which was provided by the hotel). The beds were extremely comfortable and the bathroom was beautiful, I still miss that...

My Wife and I stayed at the Byyn Eglwys Hotel. Lyn and Kevin ( owners) worked so hard to make our stay memorable, the hotel is very clean and the staff work so hard to make your stay a happy one. The food is out of this world ,good wine list. And nothing is to much trouble for them. Bedrooms are...

What a cute country inn! The owners take great pride in their hotel and were very welcoming and helpful! Beddgelert is a quaint village near Snowdonia and close the Welsh Highland Railway. We took the train to Caernarfon earlier that day and enjoyed visiting the castle. Had dinner at a local pub, but the homemade dinner at this hotel looked...

Stayed recently, could not fault the location and views. However, very much set in time and we were disappointed with both breakfast and evening meals. Had to order every item for breakfast and 2 out of 3 meals were OK, but one was overcooked. Evening meals had to be preordered in the morning which is more like a Guesthouse request...

I can't improve in John S review, as he has said it all! We booked as a family of 8 including a baby ( cot and high chair provided) and older child, and everyone adored the hotel, Beddgelert, the Snowdon railway and the local pub. Service was friendly and excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Husband and I had room...
