Me and my boyfriend decided we wanted to visit snowdonia and randomly booked a place the stay the night before we left! We hadn't read any reviews and just booked up! Much to our delight it was in the middle of nowhere - in the mountains of the national park, only a short 15 min walk to the nearest village,...

Have now returned home after a truly wonderful and extremely comfortable stay at this delightful country house. I am not sure what planet Duet is on (recent review) but whoever he/she is needs to clearly "get a life". Please ignore that review as it is nonsense. Yes, it is a steep drive to the house but you "deal with it"....

We spent 7 days in the Snowdonia national park in August 2016 and stayed in this Hotel. We ate in every night and the food was excellent. They have a small cosy bar and a good wine menu too. Breakfast was also great. The service was perfect ! It is a great location if you want to visit Castles in...

We have come back for a second time. Again we had a warm welcome by Ruth and her team. If you want to enjoy Snowdonia, the mountains but also the beaches. No better place to stay then here. Ruth is also a wonderful cook. Our children also enjoy her food but also the animals, Rocco the dog walked with my...

Sygun Fawr is probably great for walkers & back-packers. It describes itself as a hotel on its website but is actually a country house or farmhouse. Thus compared to modern, purpose built hotels it has no lift, no porters to carry bags & narrow entrances, halls & staircases. The house layout means guests must walk through dining & lounge areas...

An amazing B&B in a lovely little Village. Ruth and her team made us very welcome from the offset. Arriving at 11pm Ruth was awake to let us in the room and pour us a well earned pint after a 7 hour journey. The rooms were spacious with the necessary basics that you'd expect from any B&B. Breakfast in the...

Myself and my partner stayed for three nights last week. The drive is very steep however the view from the house is well worth it. We stayed in the superior room and had a beautiful view of the mountains. The decor is old fashioned but personally this goes with the age and period of the house. There was a slight...

The rooms are all a god nice, as its an old building some smelt a little damp. Breakfast is included and had a good selection cooked items along with fruits and cereals. Breakfast is only served between 8-9. The owners were lovely and very accommodating. One thing to note is that house is up a very narrow uphill lane, so...

The house is situated in the mountains up a narrow lane, when you reach the house it's stunningly beautiful. A very warm welcome by Owen, the owners' son. He gave us a tour of the house as well as answering any questions we had. We mentioned that we had booked a table in the restaurant in the village, unfortunately there...
