Every detail carefully thought of. Warm welcome and very comfortable clean room. Being out of town gave the advantage of excellent views. Note that there is no dinner at the B&B and no taxi service available. It's an easy drive to town but we loved the scenic walk (about a mile) and the chance to walk dinner off on the...

This was the first place that I have ever stayed at in the UK and it really set the standard for all future B&Bs. We were kindly greeted by the owner when we first arrived who proceeded to give us a delightful tour of the place, filled us with delicious, hot tea and helped us get set up in our...

The Oakfield House is within walking distance of town, but we were advised to take the walk along the river, which is beautiful. Our hosts were helpful and gracious and our room was first class. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed my short stay at Oakfield House, very comfortable and very clean room, with many small details that make a difference (hair dryer in the room, good toiletries, and ... Wine glass with a corkscrew, just perfect). Breakfast was just spot on with fresh fruit, cooked Welsh breakfast , cereals, yogurt etc. good products, well cooked. The owners are...

We stayed at Oakfield B&B for two nights over the bank holiday. The owners are very friendly, professional and helpful. You wouldn't know they had recently taken over! Breakfast was very nice, poached eggs were spot on. Rooms were clean and have everything you need, and to my partners delight included hot chocolate as well as your usual tea and...

Booked here as Oakfield had a cancellation for the bank holiday and we stayed in the family room. Located on the Holyhead Road which although busy during the day is quiet from tea-time onwards and you can comfortably walk into the village within15-20 minutes. The B & B has only recently been taken over by Jeanette and Stephen who are...

We only stayed one night, but wished we could have stayed longer. We were welcomed immediately upon arrival and served tea after we settled in to our room. The room was big, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! Would definitely stay here again!

Arrived on the same day as the new owners took over so we thought there could be a few problems. How wrong we were everything was perfect. Great room, fantastic breakfast which helped us on our way up Snowden. Short walk into town. We stayed two nights wish it could have been longer!!
