We stayed here last week, The rooms are ok nothing special, The food is overpriced and just ok, The area is beautiful, The hotel is average...Staff are friendly but could do with some training...I wouldn't recommend this hotel there are better places nearby that are cheaper.

I ordered the Rarebit and it was very very tasty. I would return for just that alone. My partner had the cream tea and although it was good, the presentation was very poor. However, it wasn't expensive so it was satisfactory for the price. The staff were very friendly and the waiting time for food was fine. The lounge of...

Booked the Royal Oak. On arrival we were given a room in The Stables. The room was a lovely spacious size and looked out onto the High Street next to the church. The location is great and The Stables bar was great for food. However, no fault of the Hotel we had to move room due to very noisy, drunk...

It's expensive for what it is, but clean and in a convenient location. Staff reasonably friendly, but ask for 1st floor if you haven't got the energy to lug your cases up 3 flights as we did. We didn't eat there Barr in the pub and it's as expensive as London for sure. Overall. Warm, clean and convenient, but wouldn't...

Booked this trip as a surprise for my wife. We had been to betws-y-coed a number of times a very beautiful place. After a nice drive we arrived at The Royal Oak Hotel and unfortunately from there the trip went downhill quickly. The staff displayed some of the worst customer service we have ever received. Rooms ok but need a...

Got a very good deal, out of season in the stables part, and was very pleasantly surprised with the very nice, smart, clean and spacious room. The food was good value too. Central location with lots of free parking too. Recommend.

We decided on a last minute getaway just before the weekend and settled on the Royal Oak hotel as the price was reasonable and we noticed this hotel had good previous reviews. We booked two rooms for 4 adults and although we arrived before the stated check in time we were given the keys to check in early. The double...

We regularly eat here on our way to and from Ireland. So often they even know my favourite menu choice. Highly recommend. Go with an appetite. Lovely selection of foods. Clean and attractive, traditional hotel. Perfectly fits its environment.

We booked another place first before.we came to the royal oak hotel. When we arrived here the staff was really nice and we stayed in the lodge beside the hotel. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable, the fold up bed good to sleep on but a little short which was no problem because they let...

Went in for lunch on New Year's Day and it could not have gone any better. There was a fixed menu on two courses for £13 three for £15 , I think that's right might be a pound out. Anyways ordered a pot of tea which was massive a nice change from the tiny little pots at hotel in Chester...
