Friendly staff, right in centre of village for shops, pubs restaurants. Not spectacular but can't be faulted. Packed lunches, advertised, were not available on the weekend visited. Not modern but comfortable nonetheless.

Would definitely...

Very close to all amenities and some fabulous walks. Very filling tasty breakfast. With very hospitable hosts, nothing too much trouble. Beautiful location. Church at front which does chime on the hour but didn't bother us or my hounds one bit, rather quaint actually. Would stay again ☺

I stayed here off season and loved it. It is a very short walk (5 mins) from train station and gives you easy access to everything you need including the tourist information. I was met with a smile and shown to my room which was ready early. There is free wifi with passwords given in the rooms, clean and tidy...
