Booked for a 2 night stay before going to Ireland on ferry. A delightful old house. Our room (George Wightwick room) was spacious & quirky with a large bed and 3 comfy chairs. The bathroom was down a short flight of stairs, off an entrance corridor(all enclosed inside room). Big roll top bath which you could have a long soak...

We have just returned from a week in the Studio and it is as perfect as ever. This is the cosiest, most romantic little cottage, just away from the centre of Betwys. It has everything we need to be comfortable and happy. The kitchen is tiny but it has a washing machine, stove, microwave and dishwasher. Lots of crockery and...

Gwawr was such a wonderful host from the moment we arrived - helpful with local knowledge and advice, friendly and so accommodative. Pengwern felt like such a homely home we spent the first night drinking wine in the beautiful communal lounge. We will definatley stay again when we feel brave enough to attack Crib Goch for the next challenge! Thank...

A brilliant B&B a mile south of Betws-y-Coed accessed from the A5. Porridge and cooked breakfast to die for. Attentive, helpful hosts with masses of local knowledge. Really comfortable rooms and communal lounge. The best value for money we have found in Wales so far.

Wife and I stayed two nights in a spacious, beautifully-decorated bedroom with what has to be the best, most comfortable bed in Wales. Elegant lounge for guests, wonderful hospitality, and great breakfasts. Strongly recommended!

We had a very warm and welcoming stay at the Pengwern. The owner was very interested about our travels and told us about more trips which await us. Our room was super comfortable and the food was lovely. We were very grateful to the warmness and welcome we had and cannot wait to return.

We were great directions so found the house easily and made welcome with a pot of tea and Welshcakes. Room good very comfortable bed and great choice for breakfast, including haddock which was lovely. Fun listening to tales of night fishing from Ian and his friend John at breakfast. One small point, towels OK but new ones would be nice.

We, a dutch couple, had a very nice stay in this beautiful house. The room was excellent and so was the breakfast. The hospitality of the owners was a great treat for us. Thks very much and we hope to see you again in the near future. The location of this B&B, just out of the village, was quiet, allthough...
