Just would like to say that we went back to Bodridis Hall for the 2nd time for Sunday lunch today ...and it was probs the best Sunday dinner Ive had for a long time....we had a Groupon offer 3 courses for 2 for £19.00 and 6 of us went and we were not disappointed... the staff are friendly, the service...

spent 2 nights on the amazon offer at Bodridis Hall. had a great couple of days. the hotel is very different! if you keep an open mind and your priority is character and individuality then you will enjoy it. the food was second to none - excellent food and fantastic presentation. loved the ambience of the hall and its grounds....

So difficult to sum up this hotel in a dream setting. We were in Elizabeth suite with enormous window overlooking the lake, enjoyed from the window seat. Sadly there was a vase of dead flowers in the fireplace and the windows needed flies and cobwebs sweeping away! Breakfast was average, cereals could be better presented in large bowls rather than...

This is a lovely old house, set in wonderful scenery. The staff were very nice but untrained. They tried their best. The food was good. The inside of the house was worn, more than just the Ancient wear in a 16th century house. The carpets were old, the furniture missed matched and ill considered. The beds were comfortable. Lovely hotel, with alot of old world charm and atmosphere, Queen Elizabeth 1 slept there! The grounds are big with a huge lake. Lots of grouse, partridges, pheasants, ducks, geese, cows, and wid life. Owls hooting in the evening. We stayed at Bodridis Hall on a special break" romantic weekend". The Hotel itself is splendid, yes parts are a bit scruffy but its over 400 years old - allowed a bit of wear and tear. We had one of the "suites"- Denbighshire- Lovely although handles inside the bathroom door would help!!. Wonderful views and plenty of space. Only 3...

We stayed here for 2 nights, the staff were incredibly friendly and although we did not plan to eat in the hotel restaurant we were very tempted by the menu and we were not disappointed at all. Champagne on arrival with a lovely welcome. Open fire in the bar,very welcoming. Great restaurant, with friendly professional service. The menu and food were excellent. Would definately go again. Lovely way to spend Christmas day.
