Clean. Friendly staff. Good value for money. Food was excellent both at dinner and breakfast. Stunning Welsh countryside close by. After reading trip advisor reviews that room 10 has a kitchen extractor fan noise, we were a bit unsure when shown to room 10 on arrival! The noise is no more than an average domestic bathroom extractor fan and didn't...

Visited with a group of friends as we were waiting for everyone to arrive we decided to have a drink in the bar much to the visible annoyance of the girl with the pens poked in the back of her hair. Not exactly a good look for someone taking orders and serving food. Once seated more tutts followed as we...

Got a brilliant deal which included dinner bed and breakfast with afternoon tea. Only small but very nice place to stay with lovely, clean room, pleasant helpful staff, great food and the nicest afternoon tea we've had. will definitely go back.

Our stay at The Lemon Tree was perfectly OK but it does not stand out as a memorable or particularly comfortable stay. Arriving by train in to Wrexham General we found the hotel to be a short walk (approx 10 mins) from the station and within easy walking distance of the town centre. On arrival, and throughout our stay, staff...

I stayed in a twin room, at this hotel. I was surprised that one of the beds was broken. From the moment I arrived (4.30pm) music was playing so loudly in the bar area I could hardly hear the TV in my room. The music continued until 11pm despite only a small number of people present. The following morning I...

What a lovely place! A very friendly welcome. Very comfortable bed. Staff were superb, each and every one of them were extremely professional, courteous and helpful. We didnt have time for a main meal on the day we arrived so booked for the restaurant the following day. We were not disappointed! Everything was beautifully presented and cooked. A great place...

The roast duck was delicious and the house red wine from Portugal matched it perfectly. The staff were friendly and helpful and the service excellent even though there was a large party taking dinner in another part of the hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was also very good. i would have no hesitation...

First thing parking is truly awful. Hardly any spaces to park and very small. Stayed in the 'king room' which was two single beds pushed together!! The room was tiny and overlooking a main road with no double glazing on the windows, so heard every bit of traffic and noise from outside. Could hear the loud music downstairs from the...

Not been here for many years but called in for afternoon tea. The place is nicely decorated and comfortable. Parking is limited and the spaces are very small. The afternoon tea was a little on the small side and we left feeling still peckish. (One small ramekin of cream between 4 people and only one strawberry)! The staff were friendly...
