I needed a bed for the night close to the Fan Dance event and Beacons Backpackers was only a 20 minute drive away. These guys know hospitality! Great service great place and a great price. Great breakfast and the pub meals are to die for. And for Wales (and the UK), the beers not pretty good too. If I'm ever in the Brecons again this is where I will stay Filling out to make 200 characters now

I have stayed here a few times now with work. I enjoy it every time I come. The pub has a brilliant atmosphere and the the food that is cooked is superb. Highly recommended that anybody staying in Brecon stays here. Neil and Sarah who run it make you feel very welcome too.

Stayed with my partner in the village of Bwlch for 5 days and this pub was a gem of a find. The owners were so very friendly which was evident as soon as you walked through the door. The New Inn (Beacons Backpackers) quickly became our pre-evening meal drinks venue. We also had the pleasure of entering the pub quiz... More
