We had stayed here several times previously, each time it seem new owners were in situ. The last time we stayed ? two years prior we were blown away by the standard of food, top notch restaurant rather than country pub fayre. Don't get me wrong the food was okay but no where near the quality previously experienced hence the...

Lovely old pub, owners helpful, welcoming and friendly. Great fire in bar, food home cooked and delicious. Bedroom warm and comfortable our room had fabulous view of Pen Y Fan and on one morning a red kite. Good location central for the Brecon Beacons.

Great meal in a cosy bar. Comfortable bedroom and delicious cooked breakfast. The advice given by the hosts really helped us with our planned activity for the day- which included a walk up to the highest point in the Brecon Beacons.

You get a great view of Pen y Fan mountain from this Inn. I was able to hike the mountain the following day and it did not disappoint. I met alot of nice hikers on the path. I had the vegetable lasagna at this pub both nights and rated it the best I ever had. It was an incredible and...

We were lucky enough to have a lovely evening and we had our meal outside to enjoy the view as it got dark... Food was excellent! Not a massive choice but we all had something different and...

After a lovely walk around the national park, came across this beautiful pub. The bar lady was very welcoming and friendly. We ordered the fish pie and it was delicious !! I would certainly recommend this dish. There is a great variety of drinks also, all in all lovely place, very reasonably priced. would certainly stay here too.

We stayed here a short while ago in Room 1. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay after a walk during the day and also enjoyed dinner downstairs in the restaurant/bar. Food was also good. Look forward to returning soon.

After a visit to Brecon called here for lunch. There was a good choice of dishes on the menu. We had the Fish and chips and the cheese and bacon smothered chicken with chips. It was cooked well, and served quickly. The furnishings in the bar were quaint with a pretty inglenook fireplace. A little like stepping back in time,...

We stopped here by chance after a walk in the Brecon Beacons. The Sunday Lunch was really good and it is great that dogs are allowed to sit in the bar so we were able to sit inside on a cloudy rainy day. Food was good, dog friendly, and reasonably priced. Soo glad we happened upon this place and if...
