Bronwyn and Steve were excellent hosts with well appointed accommodation. Steve has a new drying room for wet weather gear with dryers for boots and clothing. There are plans for guests to use the outside facilities to cook in the summer. With great view of the Brecon Beacons and easy access, this place is a must.

Superb Gem in the heart of Brecon Beacons, arrived to a very warm welcome from Bronwyn, who greeted us with Welsh cakes, very tasty ! This B & B is absolutely spotless everywhere, really yummy breakfast, best poached eggs we've had in a long time ! ;) Loved the little Milk flasks, so much better than the normal stuff provided...

The whole experience at The Lodge from the moment you arrive until the time you leave is superb. The rooms are spotlessly clean as is the rest of the house, the breakfast is superb and best of all are the hosts Bronwyn & Steve. They are the friendliest people you could ever hope to meet and they have lots of...

Two nights in mid-March were not enough of this wonderful home. Impeccable and comfortable rooms, delicious and complete breakfasts for our family of four, great conversations with Bronwyn and Steve, and within walking distance to The White Swan Restaurant. Both Steve and Bronwyn walk the Brecon trails and advised us to take a less travelled route, which we enjoyed very...

We stayed for two nights in early March and couldn't have a better place to stay. Steve and Bronwyn are the consummate hosts, open, chatty and helpful. Our room had stunning views over the Brecons (see photograph attached) and we saw it at its best when we arrived and the sun was setting over the hills. Everything was spotlessly clean...

We stayed for one night in early January and couldn't fault The Lodge. Steve and Bronwyn are the consummate hosts, chatty and helpful. Our room had stunning views over the Brecons and we saw it at its best when we arrived and the sun was setting over the hills. Everything was spotlessly clean and well furnished and breakfast was delicious....

Bronwyn and Steve are so welcoming and The Lodge was the ideal place to rest after walking in the Brecon Beacons national park. They got us settled quickly and even booked us a table a fantastic local pub for dinner. The room was great, breakfast was lovely, the views were stunning; it was so relaxing next time I will arrive...

The three of us showed up late at night, requested an early breakfast and returned to our rooms the next day with mud-covered boots. The Lodge owners were always accommodating our quirky requests and enabled us to have a a wonderful time at The Fan Dance Race. Our last morning, the sun appeared, revealing their stunning view of pastures full...

Two friends and I recently traveled to the Brecon Beacons to participate in a foot race called the Fan Dance. We so fortunately chose The Lodge at which to stay. Steve and Bronwyn provide exceptionally clean and comfortable accommodations. Even when we returned from the race wet and muddy, they were still happy to see us! Would definitely stay again!

Stayed here with friends (we each had our our own room) whilst we did the Fan Dance race. Bronwyn and Steve were incredibly accommodating. The breakfast was lovely and the rooms were really comfortable. The location is great as it's not far from the larger town of Brecon but is in a quiet peaceful village with stunning views. Bronwyn recommended...
