Playing Golf for the day on the Montgomery Course. Nice layout but was quite shabby more like a local Municipal than a high end course. Tees hadn’t been mown for a while. Did have some nice views over the 18 holes course. After golf we all stayed for a nice refreshing pint, worst pint of flat beer We’ve ever had, all decided to skip lunch and leave. All in all not the experience we expected and probably won’t return.

Stayed in a resort suite for our wedding anniversary. The hotel was lovely and the staff in the hotel were extremely helpful, friendly and their customer service was excellent. Very well trained, invested in the company and a real asset to Celtic Manor. The grounds were stunning to walk around and easily did 10000 steps just checking out the resort. When we ventured down to the 2010 golf course, we met Johnny who worked in the Pro Shop. What an exemplary member of staff. Knew everything about the golf courses, so friendly and knew so much about all the different accommodations and offers at the resort. We were very impressed. We’ll done for such amazing staff.

Would not hesitate to recommend Celtic Manor, staying in the hotel was 1st class. The staff were great and the shuttle buses so easy and plenty of them, it was great not having to use my car. The golf was was fantastic especially the 2010 course.

We had an all too short stay at Celtic Manor. Our room was a king deluxe with a great view. There was Plato do during the day and our meal in Rafters was brilliant. Great atmosphere in the main bar in the evening with the piano player / singer. A couple issues with our room which were superbly resolved by reception. We’ll be back soon!

I received a voucher for my birthday for a manicure. I finally managed to get through after several days of trying. The manicure was for a normal nail polish and I asked if i could upgrade and pay the extra to have gels as i was going on holiday. Apparently this not something which they can do as the voucher doesn't have a monetary value even though my friend had obviously paid a certain amount for it! I am sure that if i had wanted to buy a product they would have taken my money. poor customer service and how small minded. It does not encourage me to book something with them and i am so annoyed as a friend had gone to the trouble of buying it. I will use it but just amazed at the lack of 5 star service !
