I had the best stay at Arnie's! I travelled to Belfast on my own and honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. The location is absolutely superb - right next to Queen's Uni (to me the most beautiful building in the city), Ulster Museum and just a short walk away from all this fun pubs ('cause when in Ireland...)...

Visited Arnie's as a group of 8 backpackers, we showed up cold and wet from the rain and we're invited to sit in the lounge while we waited for our room to be ready and Arnie brought us hot tea and biscuits and we cuddled Coco the dog. What I loved most about this hostel was how small it was,...

It has a reasonably good location which is close to Ultster Museum. Mr Arnie and the staff had been very helpful. Bathroom and toilets are not many but sufficient. I would recommend this hostel for a backpacker who would not pay so much money for a moderate place.

Stayed there for 2 nights, decent hostel but very friendly staff and the location is also pretty nice! It´s very close to Queens University and the Ulster Museum and a 20 min walk to city center! You get what you pay for!

As basic as basic can get. The staff were very friendly. But the rooms were extremely cramped, the beds were comfortable though and the bedding was clean. They were extremely accommodating towards my kids, so if you are travelling on a budget with children then this place is pretty good. The breakfast that was served, were like the rooms, very...

This hostel is a converted residential property with very little space in each of the rooms. There are only 2 showers and 2 toilets for all 23 beds within the hostel, not enough facilities at all. The beds we had were not that great/comfortable with the bunks appearing very unstable. Breakfast was provided; toast, cereal, tea, coffee (pretty basic but...

I staid in this place a few years ago and can tell you that the owner does't give a crap. He is louring long term guests to rent a room in one of his houses nearby. Poor people don't know that it's a dump not worth the money. The hostel itself is sketchy. I helped out for two weeks leaving...

The people there are accomodating and friendly. The only problem I see is that they need more restrooms and showers to accomodate everyone else all at once. But the place is nice and comes with an affordable price! Kudos!

We stayed for just the one night and enjoyed our stay. However it was a bit far away from the centre and it was a very old fashioned building lacking in extra touches to make it better. Our bunk beds were really unsteady and i can't say I felt particularly safe on the top bunk! There was only 2 showers...

This hostel is very well located. Staff was great and helpful. Simple breakfast included (toasts, céréales, juice, coffee). But the rooms were outdated, not so clean and some of the beds were very noisy. Only 2 showers total and very small kitchen/dining room. Serves its purpose, ok for a low budget travel. Met great people there.

“I was on the second floor room number 4. Bed 8 is very squeaky but the only one that would annoy is the ones around you if a full night. I know the othe reds used were not squeezing but again that is really nothing to me but figured to drop it here.”

“All the rooms are upstairs. During our stay (it was during the football match Northern-Ireland vs Estonia) it was very quiet there. All the rooms were occupied, but we didn't hear any noise, so all the rooms are basically the same.”
