We had our wedding reception here on 7th April 2017 and we (and our guests) could not have been treated any better Maureen and the rest of the staff. The place itself is just stunning, perfect setting for a wedding. Its relaxed and beautiful and you and your guests have the whole place to yourselves. The staff are FANTASTIC I...

Beautifully restored old mill offering a quaint venue for many functions. With a few tweaks this could be a potential goldmine.Having been at a recent wedding reception, the only criticism I would offer is that the service staff need trained and front of house manager needs to be someone with more flair, charisma and customer care skills.

I recently stayed at the mill for my friends wedding which I also did the wedding cake for. I paid for a family apartment but all there was were 2 double beds which were high off the ground, not suitable for 2 small children as advertised. My 2 year old had to sleep on cushions on the floor as the...

The rooms are comfortable and clean. They have managed to keep the old world charm while still adding modern amenities. You went to sleep and woke up feeling like you were in the 18th century...except there's heat and a comfortable bed and toilet. GREAT breakfast! GREAT service! There is an elevator unlike many other authentic castles and mills we stayed...

Cheerful and friendly family run respite. Beautiful venue. Great get-away spot full of history, craftsmanship and local color. Nicely outfitted to accommodate amenities. Highly recommended place in the country, but still close to the town of Downpatrick - the burial site of St Patrick.

My wife and I stayed at the Mill recently - our second time after a gap of 10 years. It was great to see how the refurbishment/build work has come on and we had a great short break whilst visiting family in the area. Very friendly staff and made very welcome during our stay. Breakfast was nice and hot and...

Lovely venue for a wedding, my entire family stayed overnight at a recent family wedding. We had an amazing time catching up with friends and family. I have to say the accommodation is basic and comfortable as the building was once a flour mill. Don't expect wifi or even a good signal, you won't get it. I do have to...

Attended a function, which had huge turnout. The 2nd floor room wasn't big enough, and the parking was inadequate, many having to park on the main road outside. Nice enough multi-floored old converted mill, though I wonder at the fire risk with so many people, and only one staircase and lift beside each other. The sandwiches were decidedly soggy, though...

Stayed here for 2 nights for wedding. Some reviews were concerning but our room was great. Not 5 star luxury in the modern sense but large room furnished sympathetically in accordance with character of building. Public rooms even better. Unbelievably good. Breakfasts were good, though surprised and disappointed that Irish breakfast didn't include potato bread. As am Ulsterman who's lived...

We have recently had the privilege of attending the wedding of our friends Gary and Vanessa and we had a ball. From the moment we arrived we spoiled by Maureen and Noel.Maureen did a brilliant job organising the event and the whole day went like clockwork. The food was excellent including the breakfast the following morning and the staff courteous...
