A very enjoyable stay. The owner and locals in the bar were very friendly and the restaurant was fine with good views over the sea. Due to the age of the building and the subsequent additions it is as bit of a maze!

Destination property. We ended up at this location because local events filled up in town accommodation. Property was expensive, for that reason we would not stay there again. The hotel is set in a nice area with beautiful views of the surrounding area.

Have always thought highly of the Cove Bay having visited many times over the years. However I must admit I was slightly disappointed after my recent Lunch visit. Service as always was good. But the food was unusually poor. My Meat Feast hero was rather bare and seemed like it had been re heated. It was only accompanied by a...

10/10 for scenery and the staff were brilliant. The room was very neat and tidy upon arriving. The bed was very comfortable. The food was brilliant and service was great although the time between meals left us very full, but overall the meal was superb. Definitely would come again in the future!

I'm afraid that this hotel has been left to become a bit run down. We were up in Aberdeen visiting friends on Friday night and their response said it all when we told them where we were staying. The comments were all along the lines of 'it used to be a lovely hotel'. I personally wouldn't say it was a...

Everything about this place was awful. The room was like being in a dungeon. There was no protector on the mattress or the duvet, so i was left wondering all night how much sweat and filth from other people i may be lying on! There was clearly visible dried urine splashes on the toilet pedestal and pubic hairs on the...

Came here for one nights stay as passing through Aberdeen. We had 3 rooms as there was a few of us. I was in the smallest room which was okay. Pretty basic: small kettle, a couple of towels etc. The curtain in our room wasn't very good for the window so we were woken up quite early by the sunlight!...

I go to the restaurant regularly with my partner and or friends for food and wine, the food is lush, especially the steak and all the trimmings, everything tastes fresh and well made, as always the staff are fantastic and usually can't do enough for you. I like to sit at a window seat as it looks out over the...
