Friendly and traditional Scottish B&B, family operated for many years, very convenient to university. The hot Scottish breakfasts are copious and delicious. We enjoyed the smoked haddock, in particular, and the egg dishes. Light breakfast also available.

This was my first trip to Aberdeen and this guest house was recommended to me. I am glad I stayed there, as I was made to feel like home. My room was nice and quiet with fast Wifi, I only had a short walk to the university, and the breakfast was delicious. This will definitely be my choice for my...

Close to the University but it is pricey for what you get. £40 for a single room no breakfast. Very clean and owner is friendly. Walls must be quite thin, you can hear people snoring. The bed head must need tightened as the bed was quite noisey if you moved. I also couldn't find any cafes close by. There was...

Hi Natalie Thank you for your review, but I am bemused as to why you would have chosen to stay with us, as the price would have been known to you prior to booking. Value is like beauty - in the eye of the beholder. I do not think that you will find an equivalent 4 star guest house in...

Very friendly welcome from owners. Lovely cosy room, with good en suite, and tea and coffee facilities. Really super breakfast that set me up for the whole day. Good location for university and Aberdeen Sports Village.

A perfect place to stay when visiting the university. Cosy house with atmosphere instead of the anonymous hotels one finds ofthen these days. The beach is reachable by foot, good connections to the new city center

I stayed at The Jays for one night as I was in business in the area. The Guest House is spotlessly clean, very comfortable and homely, and the breakfast is fabulous. I arrived earlier than I thought and asked to have access to my room so I could do some paperwork, and this was no problem. George and Alice are...

The Jay's Guest House is my preferred place to stay when I travel to Aberdeen on business. On the occasions I've stayed, it has been in either rooms 6 or 7 which are singles with en-suite to the rear of the property and they are very quiet. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and Alice is a lovely lady...

This is a good B&B with about 10 rooms, spotlessly clean, with lots of homely touches and hosts Alice and George who are welcoming and relaxed. Breakfasts are additional to the room cost and, at the time of our stay, were £10 each. It was our choice to have them, which put the per night stay up to £100. Neatly-presented...
