Returning Customer as we stayed a few years ago as part of a winter weekend. It was great to see that the high standards of service remained throughout the hotel! Rooms have all been refurbished since our last visit and all to a high standard. We also had a meal in the hotel which was fantastic. Breakfast in the morning...

This is a lovely hotel, great food and attentive staff - we had smashing Sunday lunch there today and as always was excellent, we were seated originally beside a large baby shower party who cackled and shrieked their way through lunch, obviously good revenue for the hotel, not so great to be seated beside them, not a killjoy at all...

The Ferryhill is very popular and the reasons are apparent. A fabulous hotel in a great setting, with both a restaurant and a pub bar, with great food served in both. Staff are generally pleasant but the place would benefit from all local staff, not foreigners who spoil the experience of a Scottish hotel.

The hotel is in a great location (with free parking) for a visit to the city of Aberdeen. Good breakfast too. We stayed in room 3 which was a great size , great views from the bay windows. Slightly spoiled by noise from the bar below. The bar doesn't have a rowdy crowd or blaring music but it does have...

My wife and I had lunch yesterday at the Ferryhill and the food was fantastic. I had the loin of pork and my wife had the chicken - both very tasty. It was very easy to get parked and the staff were very attentive. I have no hesiatation in recommending this restauarant.

Had not stayed here for over two years, it has changed hands since then, but is as good or maybe even better than before. This is a lovely old building, with an interesting history, going way back, one of the windows in my room was only discovered a few years ago, by accident during a refurbishment. The bar manager greeted...

We recently visited Ferryhill house hotel for a meal as a family of 4 with 2 young children. The friendly staff could not have been more helpful to us, bringing kids meals quickly, as well as colouring in, extra bread, vegetables, and anything else we might have needed. The food is all cooked in house and is fresh and delicious,...

Had booked a night stay a few weeks before the Christmas celebrations and forgot that the hotel would be busy with 'staff nights out celebrations ect.' The hotel was already very busy when we arrived and when we asked about having dinner we were told that they were far too busy and could not give us a table......on further pleading...

We booked the Ferryhill House Hotel for our Staff Xmas party (17 people) - there was a great atmosphere in the bar when we arrived - very busy but service still good. We had 2 tables booked for 8pm and understandably they were running a little late as there was a sitting before us. The service was absolutely brilliant we...

Visit Aberdeen quite regularly, and always try and book into the Ferryhill as the rooms are all well appointed and comfortable, and the meals are always good value and delicious. Best of all there is smoked haddock on the breakfast menu as a no extra cost option.
