Such a lovely place for dinner or drinks. The food is always really enjoyable and well presented and the service is attentive and friendly. When I visited recently, the hotel had been decorated for Christmas and it looked amazing :) The bar was showing football however you could not hear this in the restaurant and the hotel also has a... Lovely hotel 10 minutes walk from the city centre. The room was modern, cosy and had everything you need flat screen tv,coffee machine radio alarm clock. We had a couple of drinks in the bar in the early evening lovely atmosphere and really busy, free fish and chips were offered to everyone a really nice touch. In the morning the... More

I visit the restaurant 2/4 times per month. I have being doing so for well over ten years. I would go out my way to eat here - innovative, fresh, local menu with excellent portion sizes and parking?! it was fantastic. Unfortunately, I begun to notice the quality of the food falling for around the past year. I suspect they... More

Found this little gem half a mile from centre. We were welcomed by friendly reception staff. The room were beautifully presented and cosy. I struggled with the new fangled kettle. Lively choice if teas coffee biccies. Hair dryer iron and iron board tucked away behind sliding mirrored doors. Also fridge with chilled water. Decided not to head out that night,... More

Had a really nice lunch outside recently. The outdoor play area is perfect for my 7 year olds to entertain themselves while waiting for food to arrive. Really delicious main meal of stir fry and noodles. Had to ask 3 times for the kids ice creams though. Lovely decor inside, I always comment on the nice carpet and toilets :)

We had a lovely birthday dinner for my husband. There were 7 of us dining. We couldn't fault the service from when we entered the Ferryhill. We dined in the Sun house, a big bright conservatory. Our food arrived piping hot and all at the same time, the haddock was delicious. Please try the Lemon Meringue pie, it's yummy.

I've been to Ferryhill a number of times. Always with family ranging from kids to adults. It's a great venue for some food whether it's in the restaurant or in the bar. The staff are excellent and the food is always great. Looking forward to coming back.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome, room was amazing, best nights sleep we've had all week, cosy bed with comfy quilt and pillows that hugged you, great selection of tea, coffee and biscuits. The only thing I would say is there was only one large towel and no jug to fill the kettle that wouldn't... More

This place was lovely. We booked s table for lunch for 8 on Sunday before travelling back to Glasgow and loved it. Service was great and the food was delicious with a great selection of food in the area. Nice beer garden to enjoy some wine and fine dinning in the summer.
