An overnight treat whilst visiting my sister and her family in Aberdeen. A glorious fire greeted us on entering. Reception and staff welcoming and cheerful with nothing being too much trouble. Our spacious and cosy bedroom was lovely with a king size bed, crisp linen and ever so relaxing. Our party of 6 guests thoroughly enjoyed our dinner particularly the...

Visited with my brother for afternoon tea and a cosy afternoon beside the fire. Added bonus was the fact they have book shelves full of board games to play while you are there. The staff are incredibly helpful - a fine example of Scottish hospitality. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. We were surprised to find our...

Just arriving makes you feel special, in fact just being on the drive makes one think that it must be like a "Laird" arriving home, step inside and the excellent staff make you feel you are the "Laird of the manor" this hotel should be fully booked all the time, other operators should send all their staff there to see...

Stayed here 4/3/17 with a group of friends from work and from start to finish was a wonderful stay. Rooms so comfortable and beautifully decorated. Staff friendly and very attentive and professional. And the food... well absolutely delicious. I had a fillet steak that was by far the best I've ever had. Highly recommend this fabulous hotel and I look...

What more can you ask for? But that is just a foretaste of the treat that awaits one... The receptionist is welcoming and check in quick...

Fantastic stay . Very welcoming and great spacious room. Love the relaxed atmosphere in this hotel. Everything seems like a lot of thought has went into the customer. Had dinner in the restaraunt - king prawn then wagu steak then peanut and chocolate mousse . It was fantastic as always. If anything it was a bit too much food ....

Great location, great staff, lovely presentation. Would highly recommend. It's great to see the owner Mr Spence talking with his guests and making them feel welcome. It is a bit of a travel to get there especially when you are based at the airport but worth the effort

Visited the Marcliffe on Saturday evening to celebrate my birthday. From start to finish the service was absolutely fantastic, really were made to feel special whilst not being too over the top. Lovely to sit in drawing room with a drink, place your order then move to restaurant when starters are ready. Husband had cheese soufflé which was delicious, we...
