I needed a short notice overnight stop in Aberdeen. I selected the Rosemount Palace based on its location to where I needed to be and the very reasonable rate. The hotel is easy to find, has good parking and provides a very basic, comfortable, hostel-like environment. The room is basic it has an ensuite shower room which is clean and...

On arrival the room we wee offered was a bit shabby, claustrophobic and the bed was far too sort, asked at reception and the girl there was very friendly and accommodating and quickly moved us to one of the upstairs rooms which was much brighter with a nice view of the church. The room was clean enough if your not...

We arrived and were shown to our room to discover the worlds softest bed! My wife having back problems asked if we could possibly have a different room with a firmer bed. Girl on desk; No problem, try this one? Wife; so embarrased, still too soft. Girl on desk; No problem, what about this one? Wife; just fine. Much relief...

Stayed here for one night during a business trip, and have the following remarks: Positive: - cheap. - clean enough. Negative: - severly outdated and worn rooms. - 11 PM curfew - what on earth is that about? - lazy front desk staff - got delayed on my check out morning as I had to run around the hotel looking...

I booked twin room for my Mum after seeing g pictures on Internet and discovered at our cost not all as it seems. Pictures were obviously done when the place was just painted. Curtains hanging off , had to ask for tea making facilities and towels. Towels, sheets, throws were stained, quilt only fit for dog bed, paint scrapped off...

Room was ok, a palce with alot of potencial but the breakfast is bad, you can hear everything from the rooms next door, people talking, walking and snoring. Staff is helpfull but they seem to not really want to work there, wich i understand. Would not recomend, spend the few pounds more and get a real place.

We drove to Aberdeen from bristol for a funeral. Eight of us booked into the hotel which was a converted church. The rooms were spotless, and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly. I read the poor reviews but this was not my experience. Would recommend and use again.

This was if the religious association is not too outrageous, a "curates egg" stay - "good in parts". I booked online through bookings.com and received no confirmation of my reservation either by email or text. I was so worried that I had not succeeded in making a reservation that I rang to confirm two days prior and was told that...

Booked here on short notice, didn't know what to expect but found it very nice. Our room was very clean, bathroom had bath and shower. It's on a busy road so you must expect a little noise. Overall a very good stay and would definitely return.

Dirty towels. Bed not made. Bag of rubbish on the floor. Had a night out so got back late, questioned on why I was back so late as I had to phone the porter to open the door. Not any of his business, surely? Ended up grabbing my stuff and staying on a friends couch as it was preferable to...
