Large comfortable room, warm welcome and a cracking breakfast. 2 minutes from the beach and a 5 minute walk into town. I stayed one night, slept really well, had a nice hotel shower and enjoyed a lovely breakfast before heading back south. You can't go wrong.

Being a stranger in a new town isn't easy - and the Bayview guest house was one of the most welcoming places I have stayed in in Scotland. From the moment I arrived, Neilee couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. I had a lovely ensuite double room - with all amenties, a comfortable bed and in the morning a... More

Spent a brief 2 nights at the Bayview during midweek and have nothing but good things to say about the Bayview. The rooms were immaculate and really well appointed. I'm usually not a big breakfast eater, however the choice available was great, and the breakfast room was very bright and airy. We were also made to feel very welcome by... More

Basic room, was clean enough etc. Standard of food terrible though, really bad economy cheap cooked breakfast with black pudding that would break your teeth and sausages with probably about zero meat content. Also the hostess Neilene was terrible and whilst on first impression she is a lovely older woman, almost like your granny, she is a nosey gossip who... More

Stayed here for over a month while working away from home. Neilina (sorry if the spelling is wrong) the landlord is a very nice and welcoming woman. Loved the fact that it felt like a home from home here! Room on top floor was very cosy and shower was powerful. Our evening meals were made for us for a small... More

Spent one night here on a business trip. The bed was very comfortable and an excellent breakfast. Excellent value for money. It is well situated with a nice fish and chip restaurant/takeaway just up the road.
