I was looking for somewhere following our trip on the Santa Train at Brechin. This village pub read well on Trip Advisor and it didn't disappoint. From making the booking over the phone to leaving with a little treat for our 6yrs old boy, the team were brilliant. Good food in a very comfortable environment, we will visit again.

Just a quick review for the Strathmore - I took a customer for lunch and realised as I was driving back to England that I had left my work notebook behind on the windowsill. I called and they had it behind the counter and posted it to me which I received a couple of days later so many thanks for...

We recently chose the Strathmore Arms to celebrate my mother-in-law's 90th birthday and were not disappointed! There was a welcoming atmosphere as soon as we stepped inside. We booked for a family lunch and were allocated a window table near the fire. Ideal for a 90 year old! There was a huge choice on the menu and the food was...

When I asked for some sweet wine the waitress couldn't tell me which ones were sweet or dry! My mum then ordered the salmon which was...

My husband and I stopped here for dinner before visiting Glamis Castle. The fire and decor was so cosy and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable. The food was delicious, hearty and authentic. Value for money. Wonderful atmosphere

Gemma and her staff looked after our party of 19 in a courteous and friendly manner & we could not have wished for a happier atmosphere for our special day. Many thanks to all...

I find this quite difficult as I eat regularly here and enjoy the food and service. A few weeks ago I asked for the fajitas to be served as vegetarian, no problem there, what I got though was vegetables that looked boiled instead of roasted great big chunks of boiled round carrots never had carrots in fajitas before, all in...
