    Lovely room and a great host, 5 minute walk from middle of town. Ideal! Parking is on street and there is plenty around the guest house. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and despite there being a wedding nearby we were not at all disturbed.

    The house is well located, an easy walk from the train station, into the center of town and also to the west end of town where there is a lovely walk along the water and a castle to visit. The host, George, is very accommodating....More

    Stayed a few nights in March. Large room and lovely breakfast. Our host, George was welcoming and helpful. Although the room was ensuite, it was located on the 3rd floor; not an issue for us but may be for some others.

    Oban is worth a visit for it´s distillery, its seaviews, it´s ferry connections to some Isles of the inner Hebridies. There are many B&B:s and hotels at the place and also some good restaurants. The Lagganbeg Guest House which I found through trip advisor turned...More
