Great guest house. Great host. Lovely house in a good location, some parking too. 5 mins walk to town, steep hill back up one way but you can walk another way which is a lot easier. Great breakfast, loved it. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend.

Roseneath is a most charming place to stay in Oban. The view of the Bay is breathtaking and unforgettable. Rooms are clean and cozy and offered every amenity we required. The lovely house is historic and well appointed. Sarah, our hostess provided delicious, traditional Scottish breakfasts and her knowledge of the area helped us fall in love with Oban. We... More

A warm welcome, a comfortable room and great made to order breakfasts. Thank you, Sarah, for the extra dramm in the Porridge. Help and infomation in abundance. The town centre and harbour are within walking distance down the hill. The freindly atmosphere made a great start to our honeymoon holiday. Certainly to be recommended and we will definatly be back... More

Sadly dated and tired. Condition of the bathroom not great. Extractor fan sounded like a coffee grinder, the toilet sounded like it had a garbage gobbler in it each time it was flushed and hardly any water pressure in the poky cubicle of a shower. However, that being said, Sarah our host was very efficient and run off her feet... More

This is a great b&b run by two lovely people. So close to the town and harbour short 5 minute walk to the town with tonnes of stuff to do And see Been to Oban now over 30time in the last 5 years now. Bedrooms are nice and the breakfasts are brilliant.

A very poor standard in all aspects. On arrival the visitor is greeted by a dark cramped and rather smelly hallway, which has a wall- full of tired old notices. The hostess immediately asks you to chose the next day's breakfast from a dog-eared old laminated menu. Breakfast is served in an overcrowded and unattractive dining room where you are... More

Roseneath in Oban and this is a view from our room--perfect location in a lovely town! Very close to Skippinish and a few other places that play traditional music live...just down the path. I stay here every time I visit from the United States and hope to do so again in the near future :)

This is a very cute and quirky guesthouse. Very friendly host. Room was very comfy but slightly small. Tasty cooked breakfast each morning. Great location being a 5 min walk from the centre. Good parking available too.

Roseneath guest house is centrally located in the heart of Oban. On our recent visit we were warmly welcomed by our charming host Sarah, who made us feel right at home. We had a lovely time at Roseneath and Sarah cooks the most amazing full Highland breakfast using quality local produce. Excellent.

We stayed here for two nights on our way to Inverness. If we had known how much we would love it, we would have adjusted our trip to stay longer in Oban. Sarah is a lovely hostess, very welcoming and knowledgeable. We had a fantastic view of the water from our second story room. Sarah is an excellent cook as... More
