Staff were so lovely and friendly from arrival to departure, so very welcoming. The room was very nice, the bath was so comfortable and a bonus treat. Walking the grounds was really good, the map given to us by staff meant we knew the routes to walk the surrounding countryside which was really useful and everything was so beautiful -...

This hotel is lovely - fantastic food, rooms and service. We stayed on the Sunday night for the £199 tasting menu deal. If you get the chance, do it. I'd thoroughly recommend and will be going back soon, perhaps this time with friends. The sun was shining and there's a lovely walk close by and the grounds themselves are very...

Stayed for one night. Warm welcome, in fact all staff were excellent. Room was very comfortable, loved the bed, slept well. Liked the fact the hotel e mailed to ask about pillow preferences etc Great bar man who made me a special cocktail and was very knowledgeable. Had the seven course tasting menu with matching wines. A group of us had an evening meal and it was wonderful. The service was second to none. Nothing was too much bother. The standard of food is the best in Peeblesshire. We ate in the conservatory which was lovely. Everyone agrees they would like to come back.

Had a beautiful meal here one of the best I have had where the chef was trained by Willie Pike who was awarded an MBE by the queen and appeared on TV and teaches the team at the hotel new skills and ideas (his friend and critic Gordon Ramsay said Willie and his team have cooked the most outstanding meal...

Location in midst of great beauty, matched by the service of the staff and in house amenities. Countryside but close to Peebles.. Worth a few days just there. Food excellent. Lots of little touches to make the stay enjoyable.

My wife treated me to dinner at Cringletie House for my birthday. We were welcomed at the door and shown to the lounge. There we were offered drinks and menus. Our meal was really well presented and tasted very good. Portions were adequate. The service was excellent. It was very relaxing to listen to quiet music in a well appointed...

Stayed here for 2 nights in April with some friends. I was in the Melrose Room. Check-in was welcoming and quick. I was shown to my room which was wonderful. King bed, small table & chairs, gorgeous bay windows with views and lots of room. Bathroom included separate bath and shower. All this plus a teddy bear on the bed...

Nice well maintained hotel. The main reason we picked it is because dogs are allowed. I can't give it a better rating because I have a lot of experience with luxury hotels, so that's where my very good and excellent ratings go- if they deserve it! We had a really nice dinner here and had a snack in the lounge-...

Many thanks for your feedback and exceedingly grateful for drawing our attention to the technical problems in the bedroom you stayed in. Now we have been made aware we have already had the television sorted and the wifi will be rectified very shortly; I am just sorry it had not been mentioned when you were here as we would have...
