Recently stayed at Neidpath for one night as me and husband were attending a wedding at the Hydro, which is just a couple of minutes drive along the road. Room was basic but had everything we needed and was very clean. Views overlooking the hills in the distance and while it is just above the pub we didn't hear a...

We were made very welcome by the staff who run this place and also the locals in the pub who make you feel very welcome . The double room we stayed in was massive with super king sized bed and sky TV. (Footy channel 😁) If you book direct through the pub you will have breakfast included in the price...

Traditional locals pub, nothing fancy, but doesn't need to be. Clean, has limited seating in one corner, the rest has bar stools and a pool table. Staff are pleasant and prices are pretty good. Worth a visit.

True olde worlde pub, open fires, pool table, dart board, beer garden, a good range of beers and lagers. Serve food but never eaten here. A true locals pub and the beauty is they allow dogs in the bar.

We had a spacious, well equipped room with a luxurious walk-in shower at the Neidpath Inn. The enormous windows looked over rooftops to the River Tweed with the Border hills in the distance. This, and a well equipped hostess tray led to a pleasant stay. Sadly, in spite of the many references to the Neidpath’s excellent cooking, they have stopped...

We stayed here for one night after dropping off our daughter who stayed for 6 nights (job experience in local vet). Very clean and warm room. Helpful and friendly barman/landlord gave us tips on where to eat and made us welcome in the bar. Daughter felt safe in bar and the room (only just 18) and was happy to stay...

Every time I am in Peebles I go in here for a drink, nice and cosy pub and nice open fire, and the real ale is always good,I would recommend this place for a visit any time you are in Peebles. Locals are very sociable and good for a laugh, bar staff very welcoming.

The Neidpath Inn in Peebles was a perfect setting for our travels into Scotland. Location was fine, the hospitality was nice. Peter, I believe is the proprietor and is running the Pub, Lounge/Restaurant and B&B. He also cooks! The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. No Parking on site - but just a short walk from the car park...

It's a sad fact that good, traditional pubs in the U.K. are a dying breed and are being superseded by the ubiquitous Wetherspoons type of bar. How refreshing therefore to discover the Neidpath Inn, which is a superb example of what traditional pubs should be like. The decor is old fashioned, with a splendid carved wooden gantry, and the colourful...

We stayed here on our journey north joining up the Pennine way with the West Highland Way. The two man team at the Neidpath Inn offered us excellent hospitality. There were real ales on sale in the bar and the rooms above the pub were spotlessly clean with well appointed fittings and comfortable beds.
