We had a welcome return to Kingsmuir House in April for 3 nights. We spent some quality time there, relaxing and taking time out to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Malcolm, as ever , looked after us to ensure our break was memorable , even going the extra mile, producing from his pc , a scenic drive on the outskirts of...

I am glad you had an opportunity to experience the local area and enjoy some of the local attractions. The hot mini pastries and smoothies are a new addition to our breakfast selection, I am pleased you enjoyed them.

We have just returned from a two night stay at Kingsmuir House in the Haystoun Suite. The room was fabulous, having the sitting room was just lovely and perfect for relaxing in while the other half was off cycling and for us both just to unwind in the evening. Huge comfortable bed and loads of pillows - perfect! The bathroom...

I am so pleased you had a relaxing stay and enjoyed the candle lit bath. The ethos of the house is to make you feel relaxed and pampered which I hope we achieved. Our ingredients and lemon curds are sourced locally, Forsyths butchers is worth a visit just for the experience. Thank you for taking the time to write a...

Lovely hotel with excellent rooms and facilities. Breakfast is lovely and sets you up for the full day. Malcolm prepared a Sunday dinner for us and this was really good after a long journey. Malcolm knows a lot about the borders district and has all sorts of recommendations for days out etc. A wonderful few days, we wished we had...

This was a surprise Valentine's weekend visit to Peebles. Kingsmuir House has two superb suites. The facilities are excellent including Wi-Fi, super sized bed, underfloor bathroom heating, complimentary tea and coffee (both from specialist suppliers), iPhone /Pod charger with adaptors, USB charger wall-outlets. The location is excellent within easy walking distance of the restaurants, cafes (try CocoaBlack), pubs, etc and...

We spent two nights at Kingsmuir House. The room was breath taking. I'm a really picky person and always find some little fault but the Bonnington suite was perfect. The room was spotless and perfectly decorated and really suited our tastes. Every little detail was thought off. Breakfast was delicious and anyone staying here needs to try the amazing apple...

We really loved this place! Our suite was exceptionally good: with a big bedroom, a bathroom and a sitting room. Tastefully decorated. Very very comfortable bed and I loved the underfloor heating in the bathroom first thing in the morning! Breakfast superb and lovely host. We'll definitely come back.

My husband and I spent two nights at Kingsmuir House in between Christmas and New Year. The house is beautiful. We stayed in the Haystoun suite, we were surprised by how spacious the living area and bedroom were.
