Stayed but the one night in this delightful family run hotel. Super friendly staff, great breakfast, clean, great value, warm and welcoming even to a dodgy car dealer! What's not to like. Keep up the great work guys, it was real pleasure to stay with you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 9 night stay at The Glen Hotel in Selkirk, Scotland. I was born and brought up in a town just 11 miles away and the Borders are as beautiful as ever. The Glen Hotel is a beautiful old property, full of character, but with modern amenities and looks over the beautiful countryside. The owners couldn't do... More

Family run hotel with local staff. This is a good hotel for business people, clean tidy rooms, good wifi and mobile signal. Parking is a bit limited. The food is good and there is a small bar; staff are helpful and friendly.

Where do I start to review our 2 nights at The Glen? The proprietors, Antoinette & Steve Howland, are really nice people and so helpful. The hotel itself is a lovely old building (would make a superb family home) and well maintained. The food, cooked by Steve, can only be described as .excellent. Breakfasts are really good with excellent quality... More

The Glen is a beautiful building but in need of some TLC. We stayed two nights. Dinner on the first night was fine, good pub grub standard. There was no catering on the Sunday night, strange for a hotel but the local Indian was very good. Breakfast was very good. Our room was large with an impressive four poster bed,... More

The hotel is perched on a bank overlooking the river and set into the countryside. There are walks along the river or up into Selkirk itself. The building and its interior are very interesting has that feeling of history but with personality. I stayed here with my family for my brothers wedding and everyone across the board was was looked... More

We booked 5 rooms for my Wedding, for myself & family. The owner literally went above and beyond to ensure that our weekend was as stress free as possible. A beautiful, clean hotel, very friendly and the food was amazing. I also had my nails done by the owners daughter, she was wonderful. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you.
