Booked and paid £100 deposit three months prior to our visit for five mates. The week before my trip I had an email cancelling and advising the £100 will be back in my bank. There was a bigger party arriving so our groups stay for three nights was obviously considered less important. I was left to sort out alternative accommodation...

6 mountain bikers at the end of a tough week and this was a great place to stay. A little remote but easily accessible to several medium sized towns, the rooms were very comfortable with a small but functional ensuite and comfy beds. The highlight was a great farmhouse breakfast served by a delightful lady with coffee on tap. Very...

Stayed here on three occasions whist riding the 7 Stanes trails. Always had a warm welcome and found the accommodation to be clean. A drying room is available foc and the breakfast alone is worth the the room rate. Centrally located for Ae, Mabie, Dalbeattie and probably the trail centre in the UK Kirroughtree. Exceptional value for money.

We booked three rooms for two nights (July 14th/15th) in January and even paid a deposit of £100. On our arrival at 5pm having done a 350 mile journey we were told we were not booked in and there were no rooms available for that night. Having shown her the e-mail confirmation we had received from her she said we...
