Comfortable cosy guest house, just how it should be. We stayed here as part of a house hunting trip around Scotland and we were very pleased with it. Glenlossie looks like a typical guest house and does not disappoint. Graham was our host and was very friendly and knowledgeable of the local area to assist us with our search. The... More

Just had a lovely weekend at this B & B - Graham, the owner was very helpful and friendly, giving recommendations on places to eat, or possible trips to make in the local area. The room was clean and well maintained and had been converted from a twin to a double as we'd requested when booking. There wasn't the greatest... More

We arrived to a very efficient but kindly welcome and were pleasantly surprised by the lovely room and ensuite facilities. All sorts of little extras had been thought of (Club biscuits, range of tea bags, soaps etc). Then there was a water machine and easy access to fresh milk. The breakfast was wonderful. Melon and strawberries to start with, and... More

We have been visiting the Glenlossie Guest house over the last 5 or so years during the Wickerman Festival weekends. Always a warm welcome and comfortable room. The breakfast selection is comprehensive, generous and very tasty. Looking forward to our next visit. Thanks.

Stopped over to break our journey. Lucky to find such a nice place, which we just saw by chance as we passed by. Very comfortable room and fantastic breakfast. My travelling companion is something of a conoisseur of the cooked British breakfast, and he was eloquent in his praise! All the usual things were fine - cleanliness, availability of tea-making... This is our third stay at Glenlossie and it was faultless once again. The owner knows us well now and always has the in room refrigerator on ready for us to put food or drinks in. We paid up front for our room this time as the b&b is busy and we wanted to secure our booking as we came... More

Found this B & B in February, when my husband needed somewhere to stay urgently to see family, he said it was very good, so i decided to make this the base for a family reunion to visit family in Dumfries. So from London, Glasgow and Manchester we descended on the Glenlossie B & B. Right from the first phone... More

Stayed at the Glenlossie in early May on a trip to Europe. Excellent service all round. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Well appointed room with everything clean, bright and working. Very good freshly cooked breakfast. Ample parking. Altogether one of the best small hotels I have stayed in.
