Upon arrival, room was not ready, no offer of coffee to pass time away. Room was just warm with regulator to radiators not working. Bathroom sliding sash window kept open with wooden wedge, very dangerous, Booked reservation in restaurant for 1940, starter served at 2020 with main meal served at 2210 by which time the staff were tidying up and...

Lovely hotel and grounds with very helpful staff, sonny deserves a special mention. Everything done with grace. Not really dog friendly though, no dogs in public areas and they'd prefer dogs not left in rooms.

This hotel is only about an hour from our home but it was like stepping off the carousel for a few days and chilling out. Good old fashioned standards - staff were superb. Rooms large and comfortable. Shower could have done with a bit more pressure - but then the one in the swimming pool area was brilliant.

Having been at Cally Palace before I was not surprised at the welcome and caring atmosphere of the hotel. The staff go out of their way unobtrusively to make sure your stay is pleasant in all areas. The activities available are second to non with a great golf course as well as a pool and other activities for all ages,...

My mum, sister and I visited Cally Palace for afternoon tea; the building, interior and grounds were beautiful! We were greeted and shown to our room where we were seated for a beautiful afternoon tea. It was plentiful and delicious! You could tell time was spent on preparing this food. The only let down was that there was no staff...

Just spent the weekend here with friends....fabulous place to stay and recharge your batteries. Food was excellent and service was very professional. Staff were very friendly and attentive. While the chaps went golfing we were able to relax and spend time in the good sized pool/sauna and jacuzzi. Will definitely be back and will bring my girls for a treat...

Stayed here for three nights in August and took up their special 50:50 offer and booked three nights this month. We were lucky to have two beautiful days followed by drizzle and fog, the colour of the trees was spectacular, worth going in November. Our room was very spacious but a bit on the chilly side, there were 4 windows...

4 of us spent 2 nights at the hotel earlier this week. It was our second visit since August. The food was very good apart from the pheasant and Hake on Monday which was dry and pretty tasteless The rooms were good apart from the lighting which made it almost impossible to read unless I went into the bathroom! In August...

This was our third time at the Cally Palace, a 50-50 deal this time due to previous visits, excellent value and as per usual plenty of guest reflecting they do-what-they-do very well. We go for the dinner dance, the food is excellent both breakfast and dinner. I could be wrong but I think the staff enjoy working here, they are...
