Arrived for one night whilst working in the area, check in quick and easy. Room was massive but a tad chilly, was freezing outside. Clean comfortable bed and a nice shower, again bathroom was cold. A great hearty breakfast and quick checkout. The only downside was my room was directly above the public bar which was extremely noisy. Best avoid...

We came here for an evening meal during our stay in Kirkcudbright, the staff were very friendly and prompt, if a little hurried service, the food was very good, I had the fish and chips which was delicious and my husband had the gammon which he said was equally nice. The eton mess pudding is well recommended! Overall a very...

A well located hotel for the town, friendly and helpful staff, had 2 lovely evening meals but let down by a room needing work for the £75 price tag. Bed and bedding good and comfortable, bathroom dark, no mirror light, shower excellent, needs more updating to justify the price.

We arrived in the late afternoon and were booked in quickly for our one night stay. The room was large with good views out over the park and we could see our car parked opposite. It had everything that we needed, as did the bathroom, but the decor was a bit tired, and the carpet was stained in places. We...

I stayed with 2 friends on a Saturday night and also had dinner in the hotel. The food in the hotel is excellent and the service is quick and friendly. We had 3 separate rooms and they were all clean and spacious. My only request would be a long mirror in the bedroom as there is only a small mirror...

Can't comment on the rooms as we were just passing through town and stopped for a meal there. Not surprisingly they were fully booked on a Saturday night in the restaurant, but friendly staff informed us there would be a half hour wait, so not bad really. We waited in the bar, which is rather snug, pleasant enough though. We...

We stayed at the hotel on the 19/6/15. We received a warm welcome. Bar and snug are very small. Bar prices are good. Food is excellent in the restaurant. Evening waiter was very young. He could do with more customer service training. Breakfast waitress was lovely. The room however was terrible. It was clean but the carpet and walls were...

Just stayed for a night by myself but was wowed with the customer service and friendliness. I will return to this wonderful hotel. It's a perfect base to explore the town and area. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Oh yeah, the food is amazing!

Helpful friendly staff, cozy cute room and very nice in house restaurant. The room had a cute bay window that looked out over the street and the shower was really good. Wifi was good and free but didn't quite reach our room. Bed was very firm which my husband loved (I prefer a bit softer) but all in all we...
