Enjoyed a peaceful night's stay at Fludha. Had a lovely airy room with beautiful views along the river. Only a short walk into Kirkcudbright along the river. Hearty breakfast set us up perfectly for the day. Jackie was an excellent hostess throughout. We will visit again!

We were greeted by Jackie and shown the breakfast room which has a stunning view of the river and the towns bridge in the distance before going upstairs to be shown our room (number 4) The...

This is the best B and B we have stayed in. It would put a 4* hotel to shame. The rooms are all individual and extremely comfortable. We were given a choice of rooms all finished to an incredibly high standard. Breakfast deserves a special mention because of the choice and high quality of the food. Jackie is a consulate...

We stayed one night at Fludha during our touring around southern Scotland. Jackie was very friendly and helpful in getting us settled in and suggesting a local restaurant for dinner. We needed to eat fairly quickly as we were taking a tour in the evening, so she suggested Polar Bites - the local seafood/ "chippy" place. Both my wife and...

From the moment Jackie, the manager came out to meet and greet us until the time we left we were treated more as friends than paying guests. Our room was well appointed and spacious, the bathroom a very good size and the guest lounge and dining room comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, especially their fruit salad, the choice of dishes...

Jackie gave her the best room with views over the gardens and estuary and made her feel really welcome. All the staff are both helpful and efficient whilst being genuinely welcoming, warm and really good fun and give as good as they...
