Beautiful house. The lady who greated us was marvelous, very attentive to our needs. Only a 1 night stay, but would definitely use again, and try to get a room with the 4 poster bedrooms. Didn't do dinnner but would consider it next time going by the other reviews and the lovely breakfast we had. Good off road parking for...

We stopped over at the bridge house on our way to and from the highlands and would recommend it. Carol was very welcoming. The rooms we stayed in were very clean and well presented. The breakfast was cracking, especially the kippers. Give it a go.....

We stayed for one night using the location as a stop over on route to the highlands. We had a standard room which was clean and well presented however if we were to stay for more than one night , then we would upgrade to one of the other rooms. The host was attentive and the location of the B...

We stayed one night at Bridge House. Our room was clean and comfortable, although up some narrow stairs at the top of the house ....we had booked a standard room. It was a little difficult carrying a largish case up to the room. We were the only people in that night. Breakfast was the night before ...we chose a cooked...

My wife and I recently stayed here for 3 days on a trip touring around the highlands of Scotland. The Guesthouse is a large Victorian house with lots of original character and set about 5mins walk out of town with fantastic views over the rolling hills around Moffat. We stayed in room 5 which is the four poster room and...

It's far past the time when I should have written this review, because it is very well-deserved. We stayed at Bridge House with another couple in June, 2012. The rooms were gorgeous, spacious, and clean, with wonderful views. The breakfast and hospitality were excellent. We definitely plan to return here. If I could always find a lodging place up to...

We stayed in a superior room on a Friday travelling to the Isle of Skye and on a Saturday coming back. I can only agree with other reviewers. Carol runs a great place. She is warm and friendly, but not overbearing. Little touches, like a jug of fresh milk for tea brought up to our room within a minute of...

Beautiful guest house with plenty of original features. Very convenient location in a quiet neighbourhood with parking on-site. Very welcoming atmosphere, the owners couldn't do enough for us without being intrusive. Clean, comfortable and bright room with an even more comfortable bed! Brilliant breakfast, great selection, the freshly grilled kippers were fantastic. Will definitely return when on our next trip...

We stayed over night in March 2012 and was so impressed we immediately booked a week in September 2012. It was excellent. Lovely food, great comfort and quiet. The hosts just want you to have a relaxing time and they are very friendly and helpful. We will be back which appears to happen with many people who have stayed there.

I would strongly recommend Bridge House to anyone. It was perfectly located - the area was quiet but only a short walk from Moffat, which is itself a great 'base camp' for seeing the surrounding places of interest - with private parking. As a host, Carol was great - friendly and knowledgable about the local area without being intrusive or...
