This is a lovely old house in a nice part of Dundee that is only a 10 minute walk to the city centre. Our room was a good size with ensuite for £75, which is a bargain for two people given that the excellent breakfast is included. Décor is rather 1970s, as some other reviews mention, but that's not a... More

Stayed for a night to see a gig in Dundee, and was pleasantly surprised for a £65 a night room. Had a warm welcome when we arrived and didn't really see anyone else until breakfast which was nice as it was nice and quiet and had a good nights sleep. So glad we made it down for breakfast as it... More

Bit of a difference of opinion between my dad and I over this hotel. I thought it was charming and homely. It felt like a family home and that the owners took pride in running their business. Great guidebooks and information about the town in the rooms and delicious hot chocolate and biscuits. The garden was lovely and it was... More

Maybe Dundee is not a big city, but after a long day of driving we were happy to settle in to a nice quiet old charming place to rest. It was a little difficult to find, but was worth the effort. The host and hostess were very nice and the neighborhood was surprisingly stately.

We had a night at Dunlaw House Hotel in Dundee. Such a lovely old world kind of guest house. The owners Douglas and Barbara were so lovely and helpful. The room was neat and tidy, with a shared bathroom. Lovely gardens and outlook toward the town from our room. The breakfast which was included was wonderful! So much to choose... More

This is a charming old house which is quite convenient for the city centre. Our room was comfortable and the owners and staff were very pleasant and attentive. Breakfast was prepared freshly and was delicious, including the home-made marmalade! It was enjoyable having breakfast looking onto the lovely garden.

I had a wonderful experience staying here. The staff were lovely, welcoming and made sure we were 100% happy. The rooms were spacious, clean and well presented. The breakfast included was great, can't fault it in the least. I'll definitely be staying here next time I'm in Dundee.

Visited this place with my wife and she was happy we hadn't booked another hotel. We had full Scottish breakfast all 4 days and everything was delicious. Room was rather spacious, walls soundproof, beds comfortable and location was nice. What else do you need while staying for couple of days for business.

We stayed 2 nights at Dunlaw House and had a look around the area. When we arrived our bags were carried to our room for us as parking was a bit of a problem at the time and we could only stop outside to offload all of our gear. Our room was nice and spacious and was clean and comfortable.... More

We had the first room at the top of the stairs, door on the right. The bed was brilliant! And the bedding was so smooth and luxurious. Puts any claims of good nights sleep by popular hotel chains totally to shame. I want to move in there. Owners very friendly, breakfast good, and an easy walk into Dundee centre. The... More
