Just finished a short trip to Dundee to visit my daughter who study's here. Holiday inn was a great place to stay as the location is perfect for seeing the town. The railway station is only 5 minutes walk away with great connections to Edinburgh or Aberdeen. If you fly into Dundee you can walk to the hotel in 50... More

Stayed one night in September. Very noisy. People in neighbouring room kept opening and closing doors late into the night and playing loud music. Also opened interlinking door - not sure how they were able to do that?. Don't mind people having a good time but would have appreciated them respecting others who wish to sleep.

On a break, so brill for central location to shops, bars, restaurants, bed far to soft and springy, again NO mirror above table/desk to sit and put make up on and do hair!!!!! This seems to be the norm with new design hotels, need to remember to take the basic tools with me?? Breakfast is like a cattle market, with... More

Very handy for some Christmas shopping. The receptionist was really friendly on arrival telling us we were just on time for the switching on of the towns Christmas lights. The room was quite small and being at the side of the hotel, the view was pretty sad. I think though it may have been quieter than the rooms facing the... More

Found the room to be "tired looking"... The view was lovely out the window over the bridge but the bed!!! Oh my golly, it has to be the most unvomfortable bed i have slept in of all the hotels ive stayed in, definately well overdue an overhaul... Breakfast was poor, extremely watered down fresh orange and not a great choice,... More

I have stayed in various hotels in Dundee however always come back to this one and am sticking to this one moving forward. Always clean, friendly and great breakfast. Quiet hotel. Never had any issues when staying and would recommend to anyone families, business or leisure.

The room wasn't clean, the bed wasn't comfy, the internet was intermittent and the room was cold with no apparent way of adjusting the heat. The rate was pretty cheap though, so I guess you get what you pay for. It's not to the Standard of Holiday Inn Express hotels in Canada.

Stayed one night thankfully on business and won't rush back. Reception staff haven't got good manners we had a large party as doing a store set up and they seemed annoyed by our arrival at 11pm. Although its location is perfect and there is a carpark on the hotelfloor, the hotel has nothing more as what you will find in any city of the world. It has no soul but certainly a view on the bridge. Breakfast (included) was not of a kind i would expect in Scotland in that price range. NO bacon, tastless scrambled... More
