Booked at Athollbank as my usual choice has now closed. Was not disappointed. Rooms are great, although not ensuite, there was a washbasin in the room. For me this was not a problem. Having just six rooms the guest house is homely and friendly. Located within easy walk of city centre. My visit was to work at a major golf... More

Short trip to visit degree show at DJCAD. Athollbank was well located within a few minutes walk. Great room, clean, comfortable and pleasantly quiet for a city location. Free WiFi very much appreciated. Good breakfast and great hosts.

What a nice welcome when you arrive. We were delayed on A9 in a 10 mile jam due to traffic accident. Robbie was very understanding and told us just to arrive safely. Accommodation is very good value. Rooms are cosey and breakfast was excellent. GT cook. Plenty of visitor info available for guests all you need to do is ask.... More

Love this place. I have stayed several times and Robbie & Rosie could not be more helpful. I was in Dundee recently house hunting and Robbie was invaluable giving me advice about the area. I have to have a gluten free diet and they were only too happy to help. I am going to Dundee next week to collect the... More

The owners/hosts Rose & Robbie were very warm & friendly from the moment I arrived at the guest house. I was shown my room & also around the guest house. The room was bright & warm. I would say that my only one disappointment was although there was a sink in the room I would have been happier if there... More

I stayed in both the Athollbank guest house and its sister, the Ashton guest house, both in Dundee. I felt incredibly comfortable during my stay and everybody was so eager and willing to help with anything I needed. I would highly recommend both the Athollbank and the Ashton guest houses to anybody who is looking for comfortable, clean and convenient... More

A very characterful property with accommodating owners. Stayed three nights and was made to feel very welcome. I had a huge room with double bed, plenty of light and air which was a pleasant surprise as I was expecting a single room, etc. I didn't partake of the breakfast as I was working evenings and preferred to lie in for... I've stayed here five or six times now, the last being in August. I've been in 3 different rooms; the one on the ground floor (twin), and a single and a triple upstairs, all are similar in that they are clean and comfortable, the furniture may not be brand new but the beds are comfy, and every thing works.
